Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised. Proverbs 31:30
The Women's Ministry meets for Breakfast on the third Saturday of each month at 9:00 am at B&W Rexall Drugs. Breakfast is "Dutch Treat". Please sign up in the church foyer.
Ministry of Warmth
The Ministry of Warmth meets every Thursday at 4:30 pm in the Dining Hall to knit and crochet hats, blankets, lap robes, and other items. These items are sent in the Operation Christmas Child Shoe Boxes, sent with our missionaries, and also distributed locally.
The ladies of the Quilting Ministry make lap sized quilts for people being baptized, graduating from high school, or experiencing a life changing event. They want to cover these people with the love of Jesus. If you quilt or are interested in learning how to make quilts, they would love for you to join them. You will need a portable sewing machine, a self-healing rotary cutting mat, and the normal sewing equipment. They order lunch, or you may bring your lunch. The Quilting Ministry meets once a month on the third Thursday of the month from 9:00 am to around
2:30 pm. They meet in the space between the sanctuary and the choir room. Drive around to the back of the church, to the doors closest to the dumpsters for easier loading and unloading of equipment.
